At approximately 3:54 AM EST, there was a networking issue caused by a switch that resulted in multiple VMs in Louisville being powered down. As part of VMware's HA, machines were powered down so they could free locks on shared storage so other hosts could power them back up. The problem is, the other hosts didn't have the resources to power up the now downed machines. Our Network Operations team is still working on a root cause analysis and we have a support request open with Juniper right now to determine why the switch failed as it did.
